Music recording, much like being a musician, requires years of experience and dedication to the recording arts. You don't become a recording engineer in two years, or five. Lots of people have the gear, but not the EARS. Rather than attempt to impress you with lists of gear, before we discuss the real issue, the MUSIC, we'll simply mention that we have all the instruments, musicians, software, hardware and expertise to make great music and great recordings.
![]() Your choice of a recording studio is the most important choice you'll make in creating your CD. It's not about software, hardware or the cheapest price; it's about highly trained ears and imagination, and the technical ability to realize those imaginative goals. If someone is helping you arrange and produce your songs, look for someone who places the artist and the song's best interests first; far too many songs and artists have been overwhelmed by over-production. Another critical aspect in the creative process is trust; you have to be comfortable with whom and where you're recording. When you've found the right creative team, then you can make some amazing and powerful recordings.
At Moon Track Studios, we have the combined talents of over 30 years of songwriting, composing, arranging, the recording arts and album design to assist you in realizing your creative goals. We specialize in working with songwriters, capturing the emotional qualities of each song and striving to enhance the central theme and feeling with careful recording technique and music arrangement; in effect, painting pictures with sound. There's a certain feeling that you get when the music goes to the heart, and that's what we're always reaching for.
We offer many different opportunities starting with Solo and group projects, radio announcements, commercials, and as far as music production for theaters. We provide many different styles from Classic, Jazz, Blues, Alternative Rock, and many more, depending on what is the best way to present your song, while not forgetting your desires.
If you've had the experience of beginning a recording project that ended poorly, we often complete artist's projects successfully that were begun elsewhere. If you haven't recorded before, then try to avoid the frustration of a failed recording project by assuring yourself that the engineer you work with has both your creative vision in mind AND the ears and imagination to help you realize your goals. We can help you, give us a call.
